Following the decision to stop supply of oil and petroleum products to Meghalaya by the North East Petroleum Mazdoor Union (NEPMU) alleging harassment by Meghalaya Police in Ri Bhoi district, Minister in-charge Food Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Department, Coming One Ymbon, on Tuesday asked people of the state not to panic as the state has sufficient stock of petrol and diesel.
The decision was taken at a meeting chaired by the Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma in presence of PHE Minister Marcuise N Marak and Water Resources Minister Comingone Ymbon.
