The bishops of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Tura have called for a day of prayer and fasting on March 13 to seek peace in Garo Hills and across the world.
Amid tensions in the Garo Hills region, the A·chik Baptist Dal·gipa Krima (ABDK) No. IV, a Garo Baptist association based in Tura, has urged residents to take part in a special prayer service aimed at restoring peace and harmony.
