The Meghalaya government has ordered a large-scale reshuffle in the police department, transferring 14 senior IPS and MPS officers across the state in a notification issued by Principal Secretary (Home) FR Kharkongor on Tuesday.

To enhance administrative efficiency and public service, the Assam government has implemented a series of transfers and postings within the state’s police force, aiming to optimise operations and strengthen service delivery in the State.
