On Tuesday, the students’ fraternity of NIT Silchar sent an open letter to President Droupodi Murmu, seeking urgent action to resolve the escalating crisis at NIT Silchar. The students had on Monday staged a peaceful ‘Satyagraha’ seeking justice for Koj Buker, who was found hanging in his hostel room on September 14, 2023.

The protest seeking justice for the Koj Buker entered fourth day on Tuesday. The entire campus of the NIT Silchar has been buzzing for justice of the departed student.
