The BSF jawan has been identified as Ct/GD Ranjit Yadav, who was evacuated to Jivan Hospital after bullet injury in Kakching was declared dead by the doctors.

According to reports, the incident took place at 2:30 AM in two villages in the Sugnu area of the Kakching district
