In an effort to preserve and promote the vibrant folk traditions and indigenous musical instruments of Assam’s ethnic communities, the Rabha Hasong Autonomous Council (RHAC) organised the first-ever Indigenous Folk Instrument Playing Festival 2026 at the Council Secretariat in Dudhnoi on Monday evening.
The race for political control in the Rabha Hasong Autonomous Council (RHAC) has officially begun, with the Assam State Election Commission announcing that polls for its 36 constituencies will be held on April 2.
