In a historic event marking the 75th Republic Day celebrations, an all-girl contingent and band of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) made their debut march on Kartavya Path.

The Republic Day parade on Friday featured the Meghalaya tableau, showcasing a captivating presentation of the state's cherry blossoms. The tableau transformed the landscape into a picturesque canvas adorned with delicate shades of pink. Cherry blossom trees, gracefully swaying with blossoms, created a mesmerising scene reminiscent of a dreamy springtime paradise.
