The Khasi Students’ Union (KSU) – Kupli Area Circle on Monday conducted a surprise vehicle checking at Saphai village in West Jaintia Hills to prevent the illegal entry of migrants allegedly evicted by the Assam government for encroachment.
Three minors died on Saturday while others are in critical condition after consuming wild mushrooms in Saphai village under Laskein C&RD Block in West Jaintia Hills District.
