Tura, July 1: The second match of the Tura Football League (TFL) 2025 Super Division saw an intense battle between West Balalgre and Maram FC, ending in a 1-1 draw on Tuesday at the P. A. Sangma Football Stadium, Tura.
After a goalless first half, West Balalgre broke the deadlock in the 53rd minute through Ellibirth Marak, giving them a crucial lead. However, just when it looked like the three points were sealed, Maram FC’s Tremarchwal Ch Marak stunned the crowd with a last-gasp equaliser in the 92nd minute (90+2), ensuring both teams walked away with a point each.

Despite several promising chances on both ends, neither side could capitalise further, with missed opportunities and solid defending defining much of the game. Easter Salchang Ch Sangma of Maram FC was the only player to receive a yellow card, booked for misconduct during the match.
The league continues on July 3, with Dadenggre YC set to face Selsella SA, again at the P. A. Sangma Stadium.
