Guwahati, July 17: Assam police have neutralised three terrorist during a gunfight in Bhuban Hills in Assam’s Cachar district on Tuesday night.
According to reports, the incident happened on Tuesday night in Bhuban Hills when Cachar police officials were attacked by the terrorists.
“Out of the three terrorists who were killed, two belonged to Assam’s Cachar district while one was from Manipur,” said an police official.
Police also arrested three terrorists from Dhalai in Cachar district on Tuesday evening.
Meanwhile, police have also recovered an AK-47 rifle from the terrorists.
According to information received, three police personnel were also injured during the one-hour-long battle with the terrorists.
