Tura, Sept 21: In a stunning display of individual brilliance, Tremarchwall Ch Marak single-handedly led the Chambugong Mahari to a decisive 7-0 victory over the A•we Mahari in the Inter-Mahari Men’s Football Tournament semi-final match played at P.A Sangma football stadium on Saturday.
Marak score all seven goals, a remarkable feat that secured Chambugong their first-ever appearance in the tournament’s final.
The Chambugong mahari now await the winner of the second semi-final, which will be played on September 24 between Te•gite mahari and Manda mahari at the P. A. Sangma football stadium in Dakopgre in Tura.
