Shillong, Dec 10: Purav Agarwal, an off-spinner from Tura, has been included in the player auction list for the Indian Premier League 2026.
The 22-year-old will go under the hammer at the mini auction which will take place on 16 December in Abu Dhabi.
Purav has represented Meghalaya at the U-19 and U-23 levels, most recently in the Col CK Nayudu Trophy 2025-26. His breakthrough season was 2021-22 when he took 30 wickets in the U-19 men’s Cooch Behar Trophy. Recently, he has been working with IPL side Rajasthan Royals as a net bowler, demonstrating his dedication, discipline and passion for cricket.
The MCA takes great pride in Purav’s development as a cricketer and Honorary Secretary Rayonald Kharkamni congratulated him and wished him the best on behalf of the entire Meghalaya cricket family.
