Dehradun, Nov 10: The Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE) has partnered with Beyond Mentor (Visible Horizon Edu Pvt. Ltd.) to launch the state’s first AI-enabled Career Labs, designed to equip students from Classes 8 to 12 with personalized career counseling, digital learning tools, and skill development resources.
The initiative marks a landmark in Uttarakhand’s education sector, aiming to bridge the gap between classroom learning and career readiness, especially in the state’s remote and underserved regions.
The AI-enabled Career Labs will integrate artificial intelligence-driven psychometric assessments, personalized career recommendations, and skill-building modules to help students make informed career choices based on their aptitude, interests, and emerging opportunities in the job market.

Beyond Mentor, which came into being in 2022, is a company that has no competitors in the non-educational innovation sector and career mentoring arena. Its goal is to connect the realms of education and employability by equipping the students with the right skills and knowledge for their future careers.
“At Beyond Mentor, our vision is to empower every student with the skills, confidence, and opportunities to shape their own future,” said Saurav Kumar, CEO of Beyond Mentor. “We aim to create learning ecosystems that inspire innovation, inclusivity, and growth — ensuring that every young mind has access to guidance, mentorship, and technology that helps them thrive beyond the classroom.”
Each AI-enabled Career Lab will be equipped with high-speed internet, digital learning systems, and trained facilitators. Students will have access to AI-powered career tests and personalized guidance sessions, skill development workshops and vocational training, mentorship for entrance exams and professional readiness, teacher progress tracking and capacity-building modules.
Officials from UBSE said the collaboration reflects the Board’s commitment to delivering equitable, quality education to all students, particularly those in remote areas who lack access to career guidance and exposure to new-age learning tools.
“This partnership will ensure that no student is left behind due to geographical or financial constraints,” said a senior UBSE official. “It will help unlock the true potential of Uttarakhand’s youth by combining traditional education with future-ready skills.”
Since its inception in 2022, Beyond Mentor has established itself as a leader in education innovation and career mentoring, working with over 500 schools, 30 corporations, 15 NGOs, and eight state governments across India. Its AI-driven approach has been widely recognized for connecting education to employability through data-driven insights and mentorship.
