SHILLONG, FEB 12: Bihar MLC Devesh Kumar praised the union budget, saying it has a blueprint for making India a developed economy by 2047.

“The union budget has a blueprint for making India a developed economy by 2047. Our prime minister talks of Viksit Bharat, aiming to develop India by 2047. So, it’s a step in that direction,” Kumar told reporters on Thursday.

He added that the budget caters to various sections of society, including youth, women, farmers, and entrepreneurs.

Kumar is in Shillong to publicize the budget and inform citizens about its impact.

“We want to inform each and every citizen of the country about the budget and how it will propel the country to reach a developed status,” he stated.
