Tura, Nov 26: The Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), Field Office Tura, organised a Special Publicity Programme to mark National Constitution Day at PASF–Abong Noga College, New Tura on Wednesday.

The event, held under the theme “Hamara Samvidhan – Hamara Swabhiman” (Our Constitution – Our Pride), began with a collective reading of the Preamble.

Chingbea R. Marak, Assistant Lecturer in Political Science, spoke on the significance of the Indian Constitution, the vision of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and the core values of justice, liberty, equality and fraternity.

Field Publicity Assistant Haihungbe Mpame also spoke on the importance of Constitution Day in promoting democratic awareness, constitutional duties and the principles that guide India’s governance.

The programme featured a quiz competition on the Constitution, followed by prize distribution.

The event aimed to strengthen constitutional values among students and encourage active citizenship.
