Tura, March 15: Ekta Foundation, an NGO from the Hindu community, recently carried out a relief initiative in collaboration with the FKJGP to support families staying at the Gimegre relief camp in Phulbari.

As part of the drive, volunteers distributed essential relief materials to families affected by the ongoing situation, aiming to provide immediate assistance to vulnerable households facing economic hardship and other challenges.

The relief materials included food supplies, sanitary pads, and other basic necessities. Volunteers from Ekta Foundation ensured that the items reached those most in need at the camp.

The initiative was organised in the spirit of compassion and community service, with members of the foundation highlighting the importance of standing by affected communities during difficult times.

Members of Ekta Foundation also expressed their commitment to continuing similar humanitarian efforts in the future.

The relief distribution reflects the foundation’s dedication to promoting unity, kindness, and social responsibility within the community.
