Shillong, Oct 16: Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma visited Amit Singhania’s building at Police Bazar Shillong, which was completely burnt down in a massive fire that broke out on Saturday.
The four storey building which had several godowns and housed the family of Singhanias was ravaged in the incident.
The fire tenders are still trying to put of the fire. It is almost 40 hours plus and the fire is yet to be completely doused.

Chief Minister is reviewing the entire incident with Chief Secretary, DGP and other high ranking officials.
Chief Minister met the family and expressed his concerns and acknowledged the efforts of army, police, fire service and all stakeholders who were involved in containing the situation.
