Former legislator Jemino Mawthoh quits UDP

Must read

Shillong, May 31: United Democratic Party (UDP) general secretary and former Nongthymmai legislator Jemino Mawthoh has decided to quit the party.

Confirming this on Saturday, UDP leader Titosstarwell Chyne said that Mawthoh has submitted his resignation letter to the president Metbah Lyngdoh.

“We were told the president has received the letter,” he added.

Asked, Chyne however said he has not seen the letter yet so it is not possible for him to know what prompted Mawthoh to suddenly take the decision to quit the party.
