Tura, Sep 1: The Garo Hills Autonomous District Council (GHADC) has announced that it will release five months of pending salaries to its employees and ensure regular disbursement of salaries starting from November 1, 2025.
In a notification issued on September 1, the Executive Committee of GHADC stated that it is also committed to clearing the remaining backlog of salaries at the earliest possible.

The directive, addressed to the NGEA (Non-Gazetted Employees’ Association) of GHADC, urged employees to consider the development positively and resume their duties immediately.
