SHILLONG, OCT 31: The Jaintia Students’ Union (JSU) has sought the intervention of the Chairman of the Meghalaya Public Service Commission (MPSC) into the recent clash between MPSC examinations and West Jaintia Hills District Selection Commission (DSC) examinations.

The overlap in examination schedules caused inconvenience to aspiring candidates, who were unable to appear for both exams.

The JSU in its letter submitted to the chairman on Friday has requested the MPSC to ensure such scheduling conflicts are avoided in the future, emphasizing the need for proper coordination between examination authorities.

The union believes that coordination between MPSC and DSCs will provide equal opportunities to eligible candidates, allowing them to appear in every examination without conflicts.

The JSU has also urged the MPSC to consider the matter seriously and take measures to prevent recurrence of such situations.
