Tura, July 18: Fans were treated to a goal fest in the Tura Football League (TFL) 2026-27 on Saturday as four matches across the Super, First and Second Divisions produced 22 goals, including a dramatic 4-4 draw and two commanding 4-0 victories.
The day’s biggest attraction came in the Second Division, where Dobol Lake and Do•kaku played out a pulsating 4-4 draw after a remarkable late comeback.
Dobol Lake looked set for victory after Pingkush Sangma struck a hat-trick, scoring in the 5th, 75th and 79th minutes, while Tengchong Marak added another in the 18th minute. However, Do•kaku fought back through Jonent Marak, who scored twice—including a dramatic 80th-minute equaliser—while Ritul Hajong and Nokbirth Marak also found the net to salvage a point.
In the Super Division, Rongkhon Sporting outclassed West Balalgre 4-0 at the P.A. Sangma Football Stadium. Goals from Riverland Mylliem, Eska Sangma, Sengrang Sangma and Randeep Khakalary sealed an emphatic win.
The First Division encounter between Achapara Balmikka and Dalu United produced six goals, with Achapara prevailing 4-2. Nikrang Sangma starred with a first-half brace, while Eltish Sangma and Brening Marak also scored. Dalu United replied through Dikki M. Marak and Rangkram T. Sangma, but could not prevent defeat.
Earlier in the day, Hill View began the scoring spree with a convincing 4-0 win over Ambri A•ding in the Second Division. Nahum T. Sangma bagged a brace, while Carry John Ch. Sangma and Jakkram Ch. Marak added a goal each.
With 22 goals scored across four matches, Saturday turned into one of the most entertaining days of the TFL season, underlining the growing competitiveness and excitement of football in the Garo Hills.
