SHILLONG, OCT 31: Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma has announced that the state government is taking steps to ensure timely disbursal of scholarships to students.
Acknowledging the delays in scholarship disbursement, Sangma on Friday stated that the Chief Minister’s Scholarship Scheme will be released by December this year.

“We recognised that delays in disbursing scholarships have significantly impacted our students. We are pleased to announce that the Chief Minister’s Scholarship Scheme will be released by December, and the Centrally Sponsored Scholarship will be disbursed in advance, even before the Government of India’s sanction is received by the state,” Sangma said in his post on X.
