Manipur: CM N Biren Singh visits Relief Camp at Khuman Lampak Sports Complex, shares pics

Imphal, June 27: Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh on Tuesday visited the Relief Camp at Khuman Lampak Sports Complex.

CM Biren Singh shared a series of pictures from his visit and wrote, “the State Government is committed to assist the affected people and providing basic needs to the victims. Extended financial aid & assistance as a part of the ongoing measures to provide relief and rehabilitation to the displaced persons.”

CM Biren Singh also called on Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi and briefed about the evolving situation on the ground in Manipur.

He said that under Amit Shah close supervision, the State and Central Govt have been able to control the violence to a great extent in the past week.

Amit Shah has assured that the central government will take all possible steps to bring normalcy in Manipur.

CM N Biren Singh also said that Amit Shah has advised to strengthen the work towards achieving everlasting peace and also sought the cooperation of every stakeholders in Manipur to ensure that peace prevails in the State.
