Meghalaya Police to organise Free Medical Camp at 5th Battalion Campus in East Garo Hills

Williamnagar, July 23: The 5th Battalion of the Meghalaya Police will organise a free medical camp on July 30, at the 5th Battalion Meghalaya Police (3rd IRBn) Campus, Samanda, East Garo Hills, as part of an initiative to promote preventive healthcare and encourage early medical screening.

The camp will begin from 10:00 AM.

The free medical camp is being organised by the Commandant of the 5th Battalion, Meghalaya Police (3rd IRBn), Samanda, in collaboration with the Office of the District Medical and Health Officer (DMHO), East Garo Hills, Williamnagar.

A range of free health screening services will be made available during the camp, including blood pressure (hypertension) screening, blood sugar testing, lipid profile (cholesterol) tests and liver and kidney function tests, along with several other medical examinations.

The initiative aims to raise awareness about the importance of regular health check-ups and early detection of lifestyle-related diseases.

Organisers have urged eligible beneficiaries to take advantage of the free medical services and undergo preventive health screening.
