Tura, Apr 19: The 60-Baghmara assembly constituency has recorded 72 percent polling till 3 PM today. In the early morning hour between 7-9 am, the percentage was 16, while it increased from 9-11 am to 43 and between 11am -1pm it increased to 55 and at 3 PM the polling was 72 percent.

In the early hours, between 7-9 am, the turnout stood at 16 percent. Subsequently, between 9-11 am, it increased to 43 percent, and further rose to 55 percent between 11 am and 1 pm. As of 3 PM, the polling rate reached 72 percent.

The plain belt of areas of West Garo Hills recorded close to 65 percent polling.

Mahendraganj constituency recorded 76 percent polling at 3 PM.

In the early morning hours it was less between 7-9 am at 17 percent polling, however it increased from 9 am and the voting went up to 76 percent.
