Representing Meghalaya on the national platform, this podium finish marks a significant milestone in the driver’s career and places the state firmly on the Indian rallying map.
Reflecting on the achievement, Aneesh M Sangma shared:
“Competing in the INRC amongst the best drivers in the country and representing Meghalaya is a wonderful feeling. Completing five rallies across diverse terrains to secure the 1st Runner-Up spot is a milestone I am incredibly proud of. In rallying, whether you win or lose, there is always something new to learn.”
A veteran of the “King of the Hills” Maruti Gypsy, Aneesh M Sangma, attributes much of this success to the rigorous preparation required for the big stage. As a champion for the growth of the sport in the region, Aneesh offered vital advice for the next generation of racers:
“For the upcoming drivers, I strongly suggest preparing yourselves by joining national-level autocross events. It is the best way to sharpen your skills and build the precision needed for the high-stakes environment of the INRC.”
With the 2025 season concluded, Aneesh looks forward to further elevating the profile of Meghalaya in the motorsport circuit and continuing the pursuit of the top spot on the podium.
