Kohima, Nov 22: Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, along with his cabinet colleagues, met Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah in New Delhi on Thursday to address several critical issues affecting the state.
Rio was accompanied by Deputy Chief Ministers T.R. Zeliang and Y. Patton, as well as ministers C.L. John, Temjen Imna Along, Metsubo Jamir, and Salhoutuonuo Kruse.
The meeting focused on a range of significant topics, including the protracted Naga political issue, the Eastern Nagaland political demands, the Nagaland-Assam border dispute, and essential developmental projects in the state.
Taking to X, Rio stated:

Rio stressed the importance of resolving the long-standing Naga political issue, urging the Union Government to support peace efforts and address the concerns of all stakeholders.
The Nagaland-Assam border dispute, another persistent challenge, was also a key agenda item during the discussion.
