Shillong, Sep 28: Online shopping via social media has become a trend in today’s world. Social media helps customers discover new brands, look at reviews, receive referrals from trusted sources and shop.Shillong, the ‘fashion hub’ of North East, will see youths  rocking their way to college in limited edition Nike or Adidas shoes and clothing. In Shillong, fashion is not just for the rich as the middle and lower class can always be fashionable as there’s thrift store available and first copies shops are available.

In a bizzare development, one youth from Mawlai ordered a first copy Adidas x9000 running shoe from one Fashion Brand 67″ offical (Instagram page) but received a red shoe (no brand) which is seems to have been used. The instagram page doesn’t have an official website but conduct their business via WhatsApp. In a WhatsApp conversation with the Mawlai youth, the instagram page has apologized and said his order will be replaced within two days.
