Tura, Jan 31: A highly decomposed unidentified Male dead body was found floating on the Junjona stream in Ampati on Saturday morning.

Police say it is a case of drowning as no internal or external wounds have been found.

The information about the body was given to police by Rakseng A Sangma, Nokma Khambakpara about one highly decomposed unidentified Male dead body floating on the Junjona stream.

Police accompanied with Magistrate and medical teams from Ampati visited the Place of occurrence and conducted an inquest and spot post mortem examination on the dead body. The dead body has been disposed off on the spot after obtaining an order from the District Magistrate, informed the police.
