SHILLONG, APR 3: The Association of Architects, Assam (AAA), is hosting the AAA Conclave 2026-Northeast Architecture Meet from April 3-5 at Courtyard by Marriott, Shillong.

The three-day event will bring together over 150 architects and allied professionals from across Northeast India to discuss “Regionalism in Architecture-A New Paradigm”.
“The platform brings architects together, creating opportunities for meaningful interaction, collaboration, and exchange of ideas that contribute to the growth of the profession in the region,” said Ar Pankaj Phukan, Convenor, AAA Conclave 2026.
The conclave will feature eminent speakers, including Padma awardee Shri Techi Gubin as Chief Guest, and keynote speakers Ar. Palinda Kannangara, Amritha Ballal, Abin Chaudhri, and Sanjay Mohe.
The event aims to foster engagement, encourage idea-sharing, and strengthen inter-state collaboration within the architectural fraternity.
This is the second edition of the AAA Conclave, following the successful first edition in Kaziranga.
The event promises to be a landmark gathering for Northeast India’s architectural community, offering a forum for dialogue, learning, and professional networking.
