Jowai, Oct 8: After receiving complaints from parents that some schools are not following the COVID-19 protocols, Jowai MLA Wailadmiki Shylla and Deputy Commissioner of West Jaiñtia Hills, Garod LSN Dykes, on Friday conducted a surprise inspection of some schools.During the inspection it was found that some schools were not complying to the protocols and the Deputy Commissioner directed them to comply to these protocols laid down by the Government.Wailadmiki also informed that a team will be established to conduct inspections of the schools all over the district because children are very vulnerable to the coronavirus. He also urged schools and parents and guardians to guide their children and wards relating to the Covid Appropriate Behaviour.
