Days after Meghalaya figured at the bottom of the national Performance Grading Index (PGI) 2.0, the state government has maintained that the rankings do not accurately reflect the progress made in its education sector, arguing that a significant part of the shortfall stems from gaps in reporting rather than actual performance.
