Tura, Aug 14: Araimile SCC booked their place in the Tura Football League 1st Division final after a hard-fought 1–0 victory over Danakgre YC in Wednesday’s semi-final at the Chandmary Artificial Football Turf. The win also guarantees Araimile a promotion to next season’s Super Division.

The breakthrough came in the 35th minute when Jonibirth B. Marak calmly slotted the ball past the Danakgre goalkeeper, giving Araimile the decisive lead.

Danakgre YC intensified their attack in the second half, pushing for an equaliser. However, repeated mispasses and wasted corner opportunities in the closing stages allowed Araimile to hold firm.

Araimile’s Akgu Marak and Malsin K. Marak received bookings for fouls during the tense encounter.

Araimile SCC will now face Rongbrakgre SCC in the 1st Division final, set for Saturday, August 16, in what promises to be a thrilling clash for both the title and pride.
