NPP chief urges party workers to strengthen grassroots organisation and expand the party’s footprint across the state

Imphal, July 24: National People’s Party (NPP) national president and Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma on Friday inaugurated the party’s newly constructed Manipur State Office at Mercy Lane in Mantripukhri, marking a key organisational milestone ahead of the party’s Annual Convention.

 Sangma, who is on a two-day visit to Manipur, inaugurated the office in the presence of NPP Manipur state president Dr Lorho S. Pfoze, Minister Khuraijam Loken Singh, party MLAs, office-bearers and workers.

The inauguration comes a day before the NPP’s Annual Convention, scheduled to be held on Saturday at the MSFDS complex in Imphal.

Addressing party workers, Sangma expressed satisfaction over the completion of the new state office and described it as an important step towards strengthening the party’s organisational base in Manipur.

He urged party leaders and workers to work collectively to expand the NPP’s presence across the state and remain committed to the party’s vision and organisational growth. The new office, he said, would serve as a hub for grassroots outreach and organisational activities.

Sangma also thanked the Manipur unit for completing the office in time for the annual convention, saying it reflected the party’s growing organisational strength and commitment in the state.

The annual convention is expected to bring together party leaders and workers from across Manipur to deliberate on organisational strategies and the party’s future roadmap.
