Shillong, Aug 1: Taking South West Garo Hills along with the rest of the state in terms of football development, the Meghalaya Football Association has awarded Ampati District Football Association with provisional affiliation.
The provisional affiliation certificate was handed over to ADFA by MFA President Hamletson Dohling today during a meeting at Ampati Circuit House.
Affiliation with the MFA will further open the doors for players and clubs from South West Garo Hills to participate fully in the upwards trajectory of Meghalaya football and in tournaments organised by the MFA.
Also present at the ceremony were MFA General Secretary Sunesh Syiem, Vice-Presidents Dr Lumbor Mawsor and Salja Marak along with Executive Member YG Lyngdoh.
ADFA was represented by its Chairman Clement G Momin, Secretary R Sangma and other members.
The MFA wished ADFA and its office bearers the very best as they work to uplifting football in South West Garo Hills.
