Shillong, Nov 21:The Meghalaya State Information Commission on Friday released another informative booklet titled “Duties and Responsibilities of the Applicant under the Right to Information Act, 2005”, further expanding its efforts to promote awareness and strengthen understanding of the RTI framework among citizens and stakeholders.
The booklet was officially released by Chief Information Commissioner RV Suchiang and Information Commissioner Ripnar Lyngdoh at a brief function held at the Commission’s office.
The booklet aims to support the overall objectives of the RTI Act by fostering mutual accountability among information providers and seekers, thereby strengthening transparency, accountability, and good governance.
The booklet has been uploaded and is now available on the official website of the Meghalaya State Information Commission: https://megsic.gov.in/
