Shillong, July 6: Over 9,400 voter forms digitised in East Khasi Hills, with election officials distributing more than 1.84 lakh enumeration forms across the district’s 15 Assembly constituencies.
“A total of 1,84,942 Enumeration Forms have been distributed and 9,432 forms digitized in East Khasi Hills district as of July 6, 2026, under the Special Intensive Revision enumeration phase that began on June 30,” said Election Officer of East Khasi Hills.
The house-to-house exercise is being carried out by Booth Level Officers (BLOs) in all 898 polling parts of the district.
Officials expect the distribution and collection of completed forms to be completed by July 29.

According to official, the dedicated SIR Helpline had received 28 calls till July 6, with all reported issues resolved.
Among the Assembly segments, Pynursla recorded the highest number of forms distributed at 23,697, followed by Sohiong (14,169) and Mawlai (13,975).
Election officials have urged residents to cooperate with Booth Level Officers during the door-to-door enumeration to ensure the electoral rolls are updated accurately ahead of future elections.
The Special Intensive Revision exercise forms a crucial part of the Election Commission’s efforts to strengthen electoral participation and maintain a transparent, inclusive, and error-free voter database across the district.
