The poll panel on Saturday declared the Lok Sabha elections held at 11 polling stations as void and announced to hold fresh polling in these stations -- seven in Imphal East district and four in Imphal West district.
The atmosphere at the polling stations was peaceful and voters posed with their inked fingers after casting their ballots. The district administration had made elaborate arrangements to ensure smooth functioning in all the 1,923 polling stations of the constituency.
