New Delhi, Aug 10: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the lower house of parliament on the third day of the no-confidence motion debate on Thursday.
The NDA government will be facing the Opposition’s no-confidence motion in the Lok Sabha on Thursday.
This comes a day after Congress leader Rahul Gandhi accused the Modi let government and BJP of hurting India’s interests in Manipur, where more than 150 people lost their lives in the ethnic violence since May 3. Gandhi also attacked the Modi government for not visiting Manipur and failing to protect India.
Meanwhile, Home Minister Amit Shah had also countered Rahul Gandhi’s allegations and listed the various scams under the UPA regime. Shah also appealed for peace in Manipur and urged the Kuki and Meitei communities.
The Lok Sabha passed a resolution for peace in Manipur, which was supported by the NDA members and opposed by the Congress.
