Agartala, Oct 18 : Around 1,000 TIPRA Motha members led by Chairman Pradyot Deb Barman will be leaving for New Delhi on October 23 as TIPRA Motha is all set to intensify the stir in support of the Greater Tipraland demand.

As per reports, regional parties including BJP’s ally, the Indigenous Peoples Front of Tripura (IPFT), and some other prominent intellectuals including TIPRA Motha is now trying to build a common platform to push for the Greater Tipraland separate state demand.

Both the parties held a couple of round of discussion on Saturday. In the meet, Pradyot also said that alliance with any party is possible only if it backs the Greater Tipraland issue.

Tipraha Indigenous Progressive Regional Alliance or TIPRA or Tipra Motha is a regional political party which was initially a social organization of Tripura, India. The party sees its activities as peoples’ movement rather than a political one.
