Prayer service in Tura calls for good governance of GHADC

Tura, Aug 25: In a remarkable show of unity and faith, the Tura Based Church Leaders’ Forum held a special prayer service on Sunday at the District Auditorium, focusing on good governance and the preservation of the Garo Hills Autonomous District Council (GHADC).

The event brought together a distinguished gathering of church leaders and community members. The program began with a welcome by Fr Januarius S. Sangma SDB, followed by an opening prayer from Rev Dilseng M. Sangma. Rev Manhseng A. Momin delivered the message of the day, while Rev Selisha R. Marak, Head Pastor of Tura Baptist Church, led a special prayer for the region.

Spiritual leaders and participants collectively prayed for divine guidance in safeguarding the GHADC and ensuring effective governance in Garo Hills. The service highlighted the role of faith in addressing the region’s challenges and reinforced the church’s responsibility in nurturing unity and moral leadership.
