As a part of the Golden Jubilee of the Cultural Competitions organized by Ramakrishna Mission Shillong, a day long Youth Convention was organised at Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Cultural Centre on Saturday.
As part of the Closing Ceremony of the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of Tura Diocese, five Deacons – Dn Anthony Marak SDB, Dn Thomas Ch Sangma, Dn Parciush R Marak SJ, Dn Martin A Sangma, and Dn Bromeo Ch Marak SDB were ordained to Priesthood by Most Reverend Bishop Andrew R Marak, Bishop of Tura. The ordination ceremony was held at Don Bosco School Playground, Chandmari, Tura.
The Diocese of Tura's four-day Jubilee celebration aims to bring together even more faithful followers, testifying to their unwavering faith. The hope is that the Diocese of Tura will continue to grow in strength, faith, and love as it moves forward into its next half-century.
