Shillong, Mar 11: The East Khasi Hills Police announced on Monday that two individuals have been arrested in connection with the IED blast at Syndicate Bus stand near Punjabi lane (Them Mator), Them Ïewmawlong, Shillong on Saturday night.
According to police information, the two individuals were arrested on Sunday night.
The individuals allegedly involved in the blast are Ebakordor Nongpluh, 26 years old a resident of West Jaintia Hills District, who was arrested in Shillong, and Tarson Lymba, age 58, also a resident of West Jaintia Hills District, who was arrested in Dawki.
Tarson is an active member of the Hynniewtrep National Youth Front (HNYF).
