SHILLONG, NOV 6: The Office of the Controller of Communication Accounts (CCA), North East India Telecom Circle, organized a crucial awareness programme at the BSNL Office in Tura, West Garo Hills, as part of the Nationwide Digital Life Certificate Campaign 4.0.

The event aimed to facilitate and promote the submission of Digital Life Certificates (DLCs) for BSNL and DoT pensioners through the Jeevan Pramaan application.

The programme targeted approximately 1000 pensioners whose Digital Life Certificates are set to expire in November 2025.

Shubhranil Das, Joint Controller of Communication Accounts, emphasized the importance of digital registration and demonstrated the use of the Jeevan Pramaan App, which is available on the Play Store for hassle-free submission of life certificates.

He also assured that pensioners unable to register digitally can opt for offline submission.

The campaign, being implemented across 171 cities nationwide, aims to update pensioners’ annual life certificates.

Several pensioners successfully submitted their Digital Life Certificates on the spot during the event.

Officials from the CCA office, including Giridhar Tayung, Sr. Accounts Officer; Debashree Sharma, Accounts Officer; Kundal Kumar Das, Assistant Accounts Officer; and Ginmun Valte, Assistant Accounts Officer, provided support in DLC registration and addressed pensioners’ grievances.

This initiative is part of the Government’s Digital India and Ease of Living missions, which aim to provide timely assistance and essential services to pensioners on a single platform.
