Tura, June 21: Eight residents of Aminda Rangsa eco tourism society have been a part of 15 days training at Mawkdok, for operating ziplining at Aminda Rangsa.
Early this year, the ziplining was installed by the Meghalaya Tourism at Aminda Rangsa villager. The 8 locals were receiving training on how to operate ziplining, which includes from how to wear the safety belts, to the commands and so on.
These 8 people have been receiving training under the guidance of Jason of Pioneer Adventure Tours, Mawkdok.
Zip-lining is one of the adventure sport. This provides a slinging through the cable with a pulley intact, this will make you feel like flying through the air. Although, Zip-ling is basically used as a transport medium, zip-lining in recent years have also turned out to become one of a thrilling adventure sport.
