Security forces recovered an improvised explosive device (IED) on Saturday in Nongtaw village, Piyong Circle, Namsai district, Arunachal Pradesh. The army’s bomb disposal squad, part of the Dinjan-based 2 Mountain Division, successfully defused and later destroyed the device under extreme precautions. Jammers had been deployed at the scene to ensure safety.
