Shillong, Mar 7: A body was recovered at Khyndailad Hotel Assembly in Shillong. The deceased has been identified as Sijo Jacob from Beltola, Assam, according to Aadhaar details as per the hotel entry records.
The deceased had been occupying room number 206 in the hotel since February 28th. The body has been shifted to Civil Hospital for a thorough postmortem examination. The results of the postmortem will play a crucial role in shedding light on the events.
According to the sources blood stains were there in the mouth of the deceased, raises questions about the circumstances leading to his untimely demise. Authorities are currently investigating the incident, and as of now, the details surrounding the cause of death remain unknown.
