Shillong, Jan 18: The NCC trekking expedition in Meghalaya titled ‘NER Trek 1’, which was attended by nearly 500 cadets from all over India, concluded in Shillong on January 16, 2023, with a glittering cultural programme over pouring with National pride with cadets not only displaying their state folk dances but even of other Indian states, followed by a camp fire and fireworks.

While the cadets were thoroughly ingrained with a spirit of adventure, they also developed a purposeful camaraderie with cadets from other parts of the country during the course of the trek. Thus, achieving the goals of national integration within the ambit of unity and discipline in NCC.

The Commissioner Secretary Government of Meghalaya, Dr B D R Tiwari, and Registrar of NEHU, S K Dixit, graced the occasion, in the presence of Officers and all ranks of the NCC NER Directorate and NCC Shillong group.
