In two separate joint operations by the Security Forces, large quantity of Arms and Ammunition were recovered from Kangpokpi and Bishnupur districts of Manipur. The operations were launched based on specific inputs about presence of arms cache and explosives on Wednesday, a report said.
The death toll in the fresh outbreak of violence in Manipur has risen to seven after four more people were killed by "unknown armed miscreants" in Bishnupur district on Thursday afternoon.
