Nongpoh, Nov 8: In a motor vehicle accident, three people sustained severe injuries after the vehicle in which they were travelling rammed onto the side of one parked loaded truck on National Highway 6 at Umling in Ri Bhoi District on Monday afternoon.According to the information, the accident had occurred when one Tata Winger bearing registration number ML04C 2807 was on its way from Guwahati to Lumshnong. It is also informed that three persons including the driver of the vehicle received severe injuries and were immediately shifted to Nongpoh Civil Hospital.

Meanwhile, Police personnel from Nongpoh Police Station Traffic Branch rushed to the spot to help in shifting the injured persons and investigation is underway.
